New Game Announcement Highlights

KEEPIN' IT REEL

Jurassic World, Universal Pictures

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires horribly.

THE GOOD

Insane amount of nods/easter eggs to the original Jurassic Park movie, surpassing the "love letter" level to both pay homage as well as make something completely unique using the nods as a sort of base. Sure it has a ton of nostalgia, but it's also successfully able to stand on its own. Actors were awesome, might be even better than some actors in the original Jurassic Park. Funny moments thanks to Chris Pratt and Jake Johnson's brilliant comedic timing.

THE BAD

The divorce between the kids' parents felt forced and unnatural. We really could've done without it. They bread trailed it as well, but when you finally pieced it together, those moments were too far in-between. We didn't care about it at a certain point. No Jeff Goldblum cameo. Boo!
