Episode 39: A Very Particular Set of Pews

Taken 3, 20th Century Fox

Ex-government operative Bryan Mills is accused of a ruthless murder he never committed or witnessed. As he is tracked and pursued, Mills brings out his particular set of skills to find the true killer and clear his name.

THE GOOD: Liam Neeson is just really fun to watch as he beats on thugs. Plain and simple. This is a popcorn flick for those needing a little action after all those touching holiday movies. Acting is pretty solid all around.

THE BAD: Did you really think the third installment of a popcorn flick franchise would be the next Citizen Kane? The script is laughable, with many "convenient" things happening for Mills to progress. There's never really any worry that he'll die, either... they've written him almost flawless, which is hard to connect with. There are some things written for other characters to progress their character development, but they never really pay off and moreso just bloat the movie.

FINAL RATING: 3 out of 5 Pews
